Introducing the bar-builder, beat demolitioner, and lyrical architect, known as Konflik --hailing from Roxbury, MA and blazin' mics across the entire east coast for over 20 years, this emcee's story is infamous but still untold to the masses. His evolution ties are with Boston MA's Krytical & The Bassment as well as Burlington Vermont's Belize Beha, GFB and Eye Oh You. A stage show and studio veteran, Konflik has honed his craft alongside his brother, Grammy nominated and multi-platinum & gold producer/engineer Nastee (Mobb Deep, TI, Joey Bada$$); as well as noted Hip-Hop producer Es-K (General Steele, AG from DITC) and legendary underground MCs, El Da Sensei (Artifacts), A Plus (Souls Of Mischief) Edo. G, Termanology and Copywrite.
Nastee—an RIAA-certified Gold & Multi-Platinum Hip-Hop and Reggae engineer, producer, DJ, and emcee; was introduced to music in his mother's womb, as his father Albey Balgochian is a renowned bassist in the Blues & Jazz world, and his mother Jane Grenier is a tap dancer, poet and artist. Nastee was essentially birthed into music and art. He played tuba and bass in elementary school, and at the age of 12 he discovered Hip-Hop. The son of a musician, the family moved to different cities throughout his early life, living in places like Los Angeles, New Orleans, Austin and NYC. He taught himself how to scratch on the turntables by listening to Herbie Hancock’s “Rockit” and at the age of 15 was working as a hip hop duo with Damion "Dizzy D" Neville (son of Jazz singer Charmaine Neville and grandson of saxophonist Charles Neville) in New Orleans and Texas. From 1989 thru 1990 he performed DJ'ing and MC'ing with his father on bass in the “One World” reggae band in greater New England.
